I have trained as a historian and was one of the organisers of THATCamp Melbourne, 2011. And I have worked at the intersection of the humanities and computing technologies at a number of Digital Humanities centres including the University of Virginia and King's College London. Presently I am leading a Digital Democracy research project and am employed in a Digital Humanities advocacy position at the Victorian eResearch Strategic Initiative (VeRSI). I am Secretary of the recently formed Australasian Assiociation for Digital Humanities http://aa-dh.org/
